Main campus ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍøjuniors and seniors can apply for funding to help cover the costs of conference travel, study abroad, GRE/LSAT Test Prep Courses, textbook scholarships, and many other great opportunities.
These funding opportunities are available for ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍømain campus undergraduate students who have completed 60 units. Be sure to also check out our scholarship page for more opportunities.
Graduate students can apply for Ph.D. funding opportunities.
Travel Funding Stipend
Main Campus students may be reimbursed for travel expenses for academic conferences, out-of-state or international internships, study abroad programs, and student exchange programs.
Eligible expenses:
- Airfare (up to $500 for domestic; $1,000 for international)
- Conference registration fees (up to $500)

Graduate Test Prep Stipend
If you are a main campus ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍøJunior or senior completing a GRE, GMAT, or LSAT test prep course from the , you can apply for this stipend.
- Think Tank Test Prep Courses: up to $325.00
Textbook Scholarship
±¬ÁϳԹÏÍømain campus Junior and senior students may apply for a textbook scholarship through the UA bookstore. The textbook scholarship includes up to $250 to be used on textbooks at the UA bookstore for one semester.
The Washington Center Seminars
The School of Government and Public Policy has funding available to sponsor eligible students to attend an academic seminar program in Washington D.C. ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍøfunding will cover seminar costs and a travel stipend. The next Washington Center Seminars will be held in January 2025, with ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍøapplications opening in September 2024. Melody S. Robidoux Emergency Student Funding Application
Melody S. Robidoux, who is a long-time donor to the university's School of Government and Public Policy, and has generously donated funds to assist students who are facing hardship as they work to complete their university journey. ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍømajors with a minimum 2.25 GPA are eligible for Think Tank tutoring and Bursar's balance funds.

The Ronald R. Rose and Karen M. Rose Internship Stipend is a funding opportunity for ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍøstudents that is meant to assist Political Science students who are completing an unpaid internship opportunity. Melody S. Robidoux, Washington, D.C. Housing Stipend
±¬ÁϳԹÏÍømajors may receive a stipend for housing if they have secured an internship in Washington, D.C.
